After you have had acupuncture treatment you can feel tired due the the relaxation of your neurological system. This can be said for all other treatments offered. You can also have spotting, bruising, redness where the needles have been, don’t worry this is all normal and will disappear over the coming days.
Yes this is common with all manual therapy, you will find that after some treatments you can be sore for a day or two. This can last up to 7/10 days.
I always recommend 7 days and this gives the relevant time for your body to get the full benefits of the treatment.
Exercise is the most important component in recovering after injury. It helps to prevent re injury, improves strength and mobility, reduces pain, accelerates healing, reduces inflammation.
The worst thing you can do if your injured is not exercises. There is always something we can do.
This depends on the severity of the injury and every case will be different.

This depends on how long you’ve had the injury and the severity of the injury. If you’ve had the injury a while then it can be in the chronic stage and the recovery can take longer.
The initial consultation lasts 1 hour. The first 20 minutes are taking your medical history and current injury. The reminder of the time is taken up with the treatment we agree on, such as massage, acupuncture, manual therapy, exercise.
There is no exact answer to this question but it’s normally best to seek advice with the first 24/48 hours.
